ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Olga Sverchkova

Writer, attorney, and observer of cities, people, and the stories they leave behind.

After more than twenty years in legal practice, I moved from St. Petersburg to Tbilisi. Writing grew out of that change: first as a way of noticing a new city, then as a way of returning to old ones. I write literary nonfiction and fiction about place, memory, relationships, choices, and the small details that often reveal more than they seem to.
